If you ever thought of keeping a garden journal, here’s a new way to keep track of what’s blooming in your garden while helping to research climate change.
Project Bud Break is a program at Cornell University that that lets home gardeners enter in conditions in your own garden, then track what’s blooming through the year. Scientists use this data to track how the weather is impacting plants. When bloom times shift, it impacts wildlife, ecosystems pollinators, and crop yields.
